Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world. Titus 2:11-12 God’s Gospel not only saves the sinner but teaches the Christian. Saved and unsaved alike need to hear it constantly. It stimulates love to Christ, which is the only acceptable motive for Christian living. It reminds us that we have been forgiven much, and so stirs us to love much. —R.
