DAILY READINGS: Judges 7; Isaiah 28; 1 Corinthians 7

Teach me Thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. Psalms 27:11

Not many folks in our culture are teachable. Even Christians feel they have all the answers and don’t need advice from others—particularly from older saints. How gracious of the Lord to give us these godly teachers in the local church who have walked this way before us and can draw from years of experience with God’s faithfulness. King David realized his need for wisdom and direction and pled with the Lord to provide that for him. The Lord is the same today— willing and able to teach us. —Wm. H. Gustafson

Teach me Thy way, O Lord! Teach me Thy Way!
Help me to walk aright, more by faith, less by sight;
Lead me with heav’nly light, teach me thy way! —B. M. Ramsey
