DAILY READINGS: Leviticus 6:8 to 7:10; Psalm 106; Acts 28:1-16

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with
the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead
in Christ shall rise first. 1 Thessalonians 4:16

While filling in a form for a medical exam, I came to the section for
previous or present illnesses. I checked a few of the boxes, but left a
lot empty. Thank the Lord for empty boxes! As time goes by, if our
Lord be not come, I’ll fill in more of those boxes in the doctor’s office.
Finally I’ll keep the appointment with death and I’ll be given another
box to fill. But when He comes, I’ll rise and that last box will be
