DAILY READINGS: Exodus 35; Psalms 87-88; Acts 21:1-16

Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any
man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 1 John 2:15

During a lunar eclipse the earth lines up between the sun and
moon, thus covering the moon with earth’s dark shadow. The moon
is a type of the believer in Christ who should reflect the glory of the
Son of God. When this sinful world comes between the believer and
his Lord, the glory of the Lord Jesus is not reflected from him as it
should be. Let us heed these words and not allow things of this world
to shadow the glory of the Lord Jesus in our lives. —Arnot McIntee

Let the beauty of Jesus be seen in me,
All its wonderful passion and purity,
Oh, thou Spirit divine, all my nature refine.
‘Til the beauty of Jesus, be seen in me.—T. M. J. & R. H.
