How different from Delilah’s is the Lord’s response to Peter’s three denials. Our flesh may cause us to fail our Saviour, but there is forgiveness when we have repented. The Lord wants to use us in His service. Learning our own weakness often makes us more gracious when helping others with theirs. —D. M. McCulloch
