DAILY READINGS: Gen. 49; Psalms 28-29; Matt. 27:1-26 As far as the east is from the west, so far hath He removed our transgressions from us. Psalms 103:12 I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto Me; for I have redeemed thee. Isa. 44:22 He will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Micah 7:19b
A few moments consideration of these precious verses will assure us of two facts. Firstly, our forgiveness is all-inclusive and perfect. Secondly, the sin-atoning work of the Lord Jesus is unlimited and unfailing. His work alone, is the basis upon which our cleansing “from all sin” rests secure. (1 John 1:7). —G. Hall
O, precious is the flow, that makes me white as snow: No other fount I know, nothing but the blood of Jesus. —Robert Lowry |
